Sridhar Mahadevan joined NID - TAD in August 2020 with 21 years of work experience as a designer. After M.Des from Indian Institute of Science in 1999, his career in industry spanned across Automotive and Product design.

Sridhar was at Mahindra Design for 14 years designing SUV exteriors. His notable SUV designs that were launched include XUV500 Sept ’11; Quanto Sept ’12; TUV300 Sept ’15; TUV300+ June ’18; Advanced projects -Exterior (’16 -’20).

During the initial 7 years of career as Product Designer at GE Medical Systems, BPL, Tata Elxsi, he had worked on over 50 products ranging from Consumer appliances, Automotive accessories, Electronic products, FMCG packaging, Power devices, Medical and Fitness equipment.

Sridhar loves to be in zen-like natural environments, is an avid trekker and also a marathon runner. He has interest in various forms of arts and crafts, and NID’s richness in these domains has led him to become a part of it.
